  3. in a large bowl combine cake mix, instant pudding powder, eggs, applesauce, and soda
  4. combine ingredients really well (i recommend using an electric mixer)
  5. put batter into your greased pan of choice and bake for about 55-60 mins or until it passes the toothpick test
  6. let cool for 15+ mins
  7. once cake is cool poke holes in the top so that when you pour glaze on to it can sink into the cake
  8. in a large bowl empty can of frosting
  9. add soda to frosting to create a glaze to the thickness you prefer
  10. add green food coloring
  11. pour over cake and use the extra frosting to drizzle on top when you serve your cake slices
